The client needed a clear, engaging video to help new users understand how to navigate the TikTak app. Using the provided user journey, I created a step-by-step explainer highlighting key features and making the app easier to use.
App Experience — Animated Vector Shapes
The client wanted a clean, distraction-free design to showcase the app’s user experience. I sourced the right stock illustration style and brought it to life with vector shape animations in After Effects.
From Illustrator to After Effects
I prepared vector shapes in Illustrator by separating and naming each layer for smooth import. This let me easily convert them to shape layers in After Effects, where I built the animation entirely from scratch.
