Walk Cycle — Fundamentals & Creativity
Mastering a walk cycle is key for character animators — but it’s also one of the most complex tasks. In this project, I focused on building a simple, neutral walk as a strong foundation. I approached the process non-linearly, starting with the extreme poses and refining the subtle transitions, knowing that every character and emotion brings its own unique walk style.
